Version
1.0.0
Availability
Portable EXE; 30,720 bytes. Optional source ZIP; 25,643 bytes.
Requirements
Windows 10 or 11; two or more monitors for movement. No additional runtime download.
Limitations
Some exclusive fullscreen games or administrator windows can reject movement or cover overlays. Unsigned initial release.

Tiny pink and lavender monitor bubbles follow the active window. Click a number to move that window to the matching Windows display. Browsers, programs, ordinary games, maximized windows and borderless windows all use the same controls.

It detects however many monitors you have, their arrangement, working areas and Windows scaling. Connect or disconnect a display and the buttons update. With one monitor, it waits quietly in the tray until another is available.

Use: download and open MonitorButtons.exe. Right-click a bubble or the tray icon for Pause, optional keyboard shortcuts, optional Start with Windows, About and Exit. The optional shortcuts are Ctrl+Alt+Shift+Left and Right.

Your app keeps keyboard focus. A window that is too large is fitted into the destination working area. Maximized windows stay maximized; borderless windows follow the destination display size. The overlay stays still when nothing changes.

No account, network, telemetry or game injection. No automatic startup changes. Some exclusive fullscreen games manage their own monitor and can cover outside overlays; use their own display setting or a supported windowed/borderless mode. Elevated programs can also reject a normal app's movement request.

Remove: turn off Start with Windows if you enabled it, exit Monitor Buttons, then delete its folder. Source and the MIT license are included in the optional ZIP.
